Juneteenth In-Person
Effective this year, New Mexico Tech will observe Juneteenth as an institutional holiday. No classes will be held that day, and employees will receive a paid day off on Wednesday, June 19.
Juneteenth (the 19th of June) is not merely a historical date but a pivotal moment in American history. It celebrates significant progress toward freedom and equality while reminding us of the continuous struggle to achieve true racial justice.
